Meet Carrie Sherk

Owner and Floral Designer

H​ey there!  I am the owner and floral designer at Atmosphere Flowers!  As a native of Colorado, I grew up on a country estate in Boulder County where I developed a passion for country living and gardening. I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters (which occasionally help me on jobsites), 2 large dogs, 1 rabbit, 1 guinea pig, 2 hamsters, and 7 sheep! I know, I know... it's a LOT, but SOO fun and we now reside just a bit further north in the quaint town of Mead. With a degree in Interior Design and after working in the corporate design world and other local flower shops, I decided to open my own workshop in the mid 90's where I began designing weddings and corporate events on a large scale basis. Some of my most favorite jobs have been done at castles and caves...yes, here in Colorado! My experience comes from multiple design jobs, building homes, staging homes, set design for Furniture Row magazine, and setting up hundreds of displays and arrangements for weddings and events. My background has given me a unique sense of color, pattern, style, texture, and design. My goal is to design show-stopping florals for all my clients. I look forward to working with you too!
